System Requisites

• These are the basic requirements for SafeSquid setup

Hardware Requirements

• RAM: 4 GB
• CPU: 2 Core
• HDD: 160 GB (Depending upon the number of logs and database you want to keep)
• The base is 4GB RAM and add 4MB per connection.

Operating System

Microsoft Windows

• The following dependencies are required for SafeSquid windows installer
  • vcredist_x64(2010).exe
  •  vcredist_x64(2012).exe
  • vcredist_x64(2013).exe

Linux

• Debian based distributions like, Ubuntu, Linux Mint
  • No dependencies are required if you want to use SafeSquid Appliance Builder
  • If you are using Linux intsallation package, the below packages are required
• RPM based Linux distributions, like, Fedora, Red Hat
  • Here you have to download below packages

Network Details

• IP address of the SafeSquid Machine,
• Netmask
• Gateway
• DNS
• FQDN

Note : You must have direct internet access to the SafeSquid Server IP.
