System Requisites
- These are the basic requirements for SafeSquid setup
Hardware Requirements
- RAM: 4 GB
- CPU: 2 Core
- HDD: 160 GB (Depending upon the number of logs and database you want to keep)
- The base is 4GB RAM and add 4MB per connection.

Operating System
Microsoft Windows
- The following dependencies are required for SafeSquid windows installer
Linux
- Debian based distributions like, Ubuntu, Linux Mint
- No dependencies are required if you want to use SafeSquid Appliance Builder
- If you are using Linux intsallation package, the below packages are required
- RPM based Linux distributions, like, Fedora, Red Hat
- Here you have to download below packages
Network Details
- IP address of the SafeSquid Machine,
- Netmask
- Gateway
- DNS
- FQDN
Note : You must have direct internet access to the SafeSquid Server IP.
